Surprise Party for the over 80′s and 90′s. 28th July 2010
Once again the staff at the Day Care pulled out all stops to host a party for the older folk. While many of them were on a tour the stage was set to host a big surprise for all. Cakes, balloons, a four course meal, entertainment and dancing were generously served up with lots of good humour and Craic. Local councillors took the opportunity to make a presentation to the centre.
The stars of the show were Ellen Maguire, Betty Nolan, Ida Rothwell and Hannah Nolan.
Nineties Party 31st August 2009
On Monday the 31st August the centre celebrated a party for those in their. With a capacity attendance of members, staff, local representatives and guests the craic was great.
Bernie Cunnane welcomed all present giving congratulations to the members and giving all credit to Lila Rogers for promoting the event with such enthusiasm and style.

Eileen Croke Celebrates 100 years of Living. 1st September 1908
Yes, on the 1st September 1908 Eileen embarked on her earthly trip of 100 times around the sun, a distance of about 59,069,600,000 miles. A time traveller indeed.
Eileen had no difficulty with the candles and managed the occasion with great
aplomb assisted along the way by ‘she, who must be obeyed’ Lila Rogers whose
planning, enthusiasm and organisational skills seem to grow year by year
Tullow Day Care pulled out all the stops to host a party to be remembered and the assembled guests included daughters, grand children and great grandchildren in near astronomical figures too. Fellow members of the Day Care, staff,
minders, drivers, cooks, clergy, councillors, the media all joined in to wish Eileen a Happy Birthday.
President McAleese sent a warm letter of congratulations accompanied
by a welcome cheque for €2,500.
